This look is something I do everyday just with a variation on the eye make-up. It's very simple; the look is soft skin, soft colours paired with dark liner and volumized textured hair.
I've listed all the products used below and in the description bar of the video.
Enjoy:
For referencing below are the pictures of some of the key items used:
These are the colours from the Sleek palette which you can purchase from Superdrug. These colours have incredible colour pay off and is definitely value for money. I use colour one as a base colour, two are a crease colour and three for a final intensity outer corner colour.
This the colour I use as my highlight - it's just a soft soft soft pink yogurt colour with zero shimmer.
I know I'll get asked what cream blush I used and it' a Maxfactor one in #14 Soft Pink.

Review: Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-On
Who is this review for?
For anyone who is looking for a product to combat the fine liners under the eyes and the inevitable sagging skin around this area
What is it?
This is one of Garnier's star products - the caffeine eye roll-on. At first glance this product look likes every girl's best friend; it's compact, cute and promises to banish dark circles and fine lines. It's also an excuse to have an infamous shot of caffeine. The roller is very light weight and dispenses a thin liquid/gel that is can be easily absorbed into your skin and the metal ball that comes in contact with your skin is cooling and massages very well. In this product you will get
What does it claim to do?
Garnier says that this hand-bag must have product is enriched with caffeine and can be used on the go so it's perfect for even the busiest women. It's cooling, moisturising and is laced with Pro-Vitamin B5 which will brighten up your eyes. The roll on gives a cooling massave and stimulates microcirculation.
How to use it
This is not a product you need Einstein to figure out - you roll it gently under the eye before you apply a moisturiser. I personally do very very (very) gentle circular motions to induce even more massaging so I can benefit from this product even more. (Plus, it feels nice)
What it did for me
The way this product has been marketed and presented makes it seem innovative and almost seem like a technology break-through product; however when I first heard about it, it all seemed like a gimmick. A tube fill with a liquid with some caffeine (oh the irony) and dispense through a roller- great.
However now that I've been using it for over two months now I can give you my honest opinion and tell you what is has done for me.
Above* is a comparison picture, two pictures I've taken individually over the course of two months. If you see the top picture I have definite fine lines on both eyes. The eye on the left (my right eye, but we'll call it the 'left') has a very prominent line and as for the right it is not losing on that streak. I applied this product on religiously two a day and two months on my lines have visibly reduced. The 'left' eye on the bottom picture has lines less obvious and it on the right my line has almost disappeared. I know you're a bit gobsmacked at the moment but bear with me.
After these amazing results I began to wonder what would happen if I stopped using it for a couple of days?
Needless to say my lines began to come back but it was no way as bad as it was at the very beginning of this course. No doubt I began using it again and I feel like it's working again.
I feel that this product can become very addictive - every person who I know who uses it loves it and even when they don't see a difference, they can't stop using it. When I ask why this is they say it's because it's so soothing and very moisturising, which in fact is very true. If anything I know that it brightens up my eyes and it instantly makes me feel radiant. I think it's an achievement for my lines to have faded the way they have.
In spite of say this, other variables have played a part which I am not about to elaborate more on.
Over the last couple of months I have had moments where I have slept more; this is not to say that for the last two months I've been achieving an 8 hour-a-day sleep cycle but it's a far big improvement from my usual 4 hours a day. This may have affected the results in a way but it's interesting to note that when I didn't use this product my lines did come back. Does this product really work?
I personally feel it does work but has very temporary effect; like I mentioned it's one of those products you will have to be loyal to for the rest of your life if you don't want to face the sudden realisation that actually you do have horrific under eye wrinkles when you forget to pack in on holiday. It's not a technology break-through product - but it is pretty neat!
The cost
This product is quite costly. In the UK, at Boots.com it sells for £9.78 (which happens to be a lot cheaper than it used to be).
STAR RATING
This product gets a 4/5 - I do really like it but I don't love it but I would be sad without it. While I don't think it'll cure these lines under my eyes, they will give me more confidence to face the day! See the picture for yourself.
*The above picture has not been photoshopped in anyway to eradicate any lines or imperfections; all picture is all natural (besides the obvious formatting of the borders and words)

A look you can wear day and night (using shimmering golds and browns)
This look can be taken from day to night, it uses very neutral gold-ish warm shimmers with browns and thick liner than isn't too dramatic for day but is chic enough for the evening. The tutorial shall be up on youtube soon after this has been posted so keep a look out for it!

Gifts from Ling
I got mail from Ling today :) (Moonbeamstarlight)
Ling is one of my BBFs on youtube and she's recently been to Italy and back and whilst there she picked up a souvenier for me! Which I'm SO pleased about :)
I think here I want to express myself because it's much easier to do so in words than in camera for me.
Dear Ling:
It's not often you meet someone who is as thoughtful as you and although I may not know you too well and we've never hugged in the flesh, you make me want to give you a sisterly hug and let you know how much I appreciate you! You make me and everyone else smile and by sending me this gift, you've made my horrible week so much nicer!
Thanks hun
Thank you for thinking about me :)
So Ling got me a blue (like the ocean_ bracelet which I think is supposed to represent her support for me and our friendship! The arrows are supposed to point to my heart when I look at it like a watch! SWEET!
I love that Youtube has brought me so many friends.
Peace! xx

2. Tag eight other un-tagged people
What is your current fashion obsession? - Lace! (which is weird) and navy blue tops. Weird!
What is your current makeup obsession? - MAC Lipsticks! Particularly Saint Germain!

Hair? - I CUT IT TODAY!!!!
Do you nap a lot? - I wish but I do love a nap
Why is today special? - It was crap until I cut my hair! :)
What would you like to learn to do? Feed a baby (animal), cook like a pro and use better movie editting program

What are you listening to right now? - The faint humming of my pc. i dont listen to music at night!

Sugar Sweet, Colour Ready, Boots and BB Cream Haul
Recently I've not been hauling much but I've finally done a collective haul here for you all. First stop is Mac's Sugar Sweet and Colour Ready Collections.
The first thing I purchased from Colour Ready was the Prep + Prime Line Filler
Here is the description:
"A primer used post-foundation, pre-makeup to camouflage, soften and relax expression lines and wrinkles. Applies as a dense cream: dries to a transparent, smooth, natural matte finish. With ongoing use, clinically proven to help rejuvenate your look"
I was a bit sceptical because I generally feel anti-wrinkle claims are overly exaggerated but I was swayed by one of my favourite gurus on youtube which happens to be lollipop26. So far so good but I'm not going to give a review, my intial thoughts are that it gives a lovely finish and seems promising!
The second thing I bought from MAC is Lemon Chiffon Shadestick
And while I liked all of the other ones (in particularly Butternutty and Penny) I decided to only go for Lemon Chiffon because I feel like it can make any matte colour, shimmer, and I think Penny wouldn't have gone as far in my collection as Lemon Chiffon and Butternutty but nice and subtle but perhaps would not have been as popular as LC. I think LC would be a great base as well as a highlight for the brows and even the top of cheek bones. It will help bright up the inner colours of your eyes and I haven't yet experimented but I can think of a couple of other ways to use this shadestick. So I'm dead excited!
These are the only two products I purchased from the collections. I am currently waiting for Saint Germain lipstick but it was sold out as my MAC but I've been told that it's going to become permanent which I'm SO glad about. I'm also looking to get Bubble but I don't really think I will get it before Saint Germaine. SG is a gorgeous bubblegum pink and although it can be a bit frightening to those wary of bold colours, I think it's such a playful summer colour and would look nice with a simple eye look as it'll create a gorgeous "girl next door" image.
I wasn't particularly impressed with either MSFs, eyeshadows or lipglosses. So I guess that saved me money.
Here are three sites that I go to for collection swatches and I recommend them all.
The first is Sephora Junkie's blogspot - she has great swatches and pictures
The second is Temptalia.com - where you can find out about everything and anything
The third is lollipop26's blogpot - she puts in a lot of effort with swatches, comparisons and does amazing videos!
Also from MAC I purchased a Studio Finish Concealer in NW20 (I'm an NC20 in studio finish foundation) and so far so good.
I like that is has SPF35 and it seems to give great coverage. I was inspired to buy this product from Bubzbeauty's video tag where she explains that her must have make up item is her concealer and so I decided to buy a MAC concealer to see if it really is as amazing as she says.
Speaking of Bubzbeauty she's also recently produced a review for the Missha BB Cream
I've tested it out and I'm not going to give my opinion until I've used it several times. So check it out, watch the Bubzbeauty review and I'll follow it up soon!
The last two products I bought were the Herbal Essense Hello Hydration Intensive Hair Mask and Neutrogena Trip Action Lotion Toner. I'm so glad drugstores hold products which actually do the job - save a hella lotta money!
So that's it for my haul. I'll be doing more reviews soon!
