Review: Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream No.21

What is it?
For all of you who still have not got the complete picture of this product, I hope this blog review will help you. This is Missha's Perfect Cover BB cream. BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm which is a clear indication for it's skin loving properties, but more on that in a second. The perfect cover BB cream is a foundation cream infused with its original BB cream; designed to give flawless yet natural coverage and is also said to fill in wrinkles, whitens the skin and is apparently supposed to improve your complexion as well. It's an oil free based cream and has a high SPF factor of 42. In consistency its a fairly thick mixture and reminds me of a normal facial moisturiser but its light enough to blend and not too heavy on the skin. It seems like baby products so think Talcum powder or Johson' s baby lotion. This product comes in two sizes, a 30ml and a 50ml.

Why does it claim do?

Description:
"Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream offers a novel skincare concept with BB cream, which lightens skin tone by healing visible wrinkles and blemishes with excellent skin-cover ability, and prevents skin aging through effective whitening and anti-wrinkle properties".

How I use it
You simply apply like you would a foundation; I'm a big fan of using cosmetic sponges to sheer and even out make up because I love a natural look however I don't find it necessary for this product and it even works well to apply with f

How did it work for me?
I do like this product but one of the downfalls I find is that is does oxidise on the skin throughout the day hence why wen I first purchased the BB cream I got it in No.23 which is the darker shade. It looked good the moment I put it on but by the time I finished the rest of my make up and was ready to leave I ended up looking too dark. This might be somethign to watch out for. If you go to fuzkittie's website she has some amazing pictures of exactly what I'm talking about.

The other downfall would be the limit of shades. It seems that Missha is only catering for those of Asian skintone and therefore if your skin is very dark or even very fair this may not work for you.

How much did it cost? Where can I get it?
Costs do vary depending on where you buy it from. you can purchase this at anywhere on Ebay and all sellers are generally from ebay. Here is a link to the ebay shop I purchased from:

My verdict?
I wouldn't say I was in love with this product and I wouldn't rave about it - but I do quite like it. On most occasions that call for natural looking skin, for days out that don't need a lot of coverage, I will reach out for this. A lot of people say this product gives a lot of coverage but I think this only applies to those who have few skin imperfections and blemishes. I know that without concealer my undereyes will still remain a bit darker than it would with concealer and most of my blemishes are still visible (but more fainter).

I like that this gives me a dewy look and makes me look more awake. I especially like that it has an SPF in it and for a a price of less than £10 it's definitely a good buy. So for this product I would give it a

This is good to know, and I'm glad that you have provided another link to other people who have reviewed it. I've been thinking about ordering it for a while now, but I am hesitant because I'd have to do it through eBay, and I wouldn't be sure as to what color I would need. One question though - I know some BB creams are medicated. If this one was, did it make your skin look better or did I just miss that part in the review?

Hi Adelle
You could probably try to compareyour skin with mine? Judging from your picture I would probably say 21?

I have to say it hasn't done much for my complexion as a whole.. as in there is no actual improvements to my skin. But then again i don't use this everyday so it would be unfair to say so. I does make my skin look better when I have it on but there has been no change to my skin in general due to the Missha BB cream :)

xx
